| Description | 1. Perform software installation and upgrades to Unix operating system and layered software packages and maintain them in accordance with established policies, procedures and SLA. 2. Installing, configuring and maintaining Unix workstation and servers. 3. Ensure Unix workstation/servers integrity by evaluating, implementing and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. 4. Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum level of performance. 5. Conducts routine hardware and software audits of Unix workstations/servers for compliance with established standards policies, procedures, and configurations guidelines. 6. Ensure Data/media recoverability by implementing schedule of system backups and Database archive operations. |
| Qualifications | 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. 2. Diploma of Software Engineering, UNIX Department from ITI is a MUST. 3. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. 4. Demonstrate a strong initiative and willingness to learn new skills. 5. Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public. |
